Student Achievement Day 2017For approximately 35 years, the New Bern Alumnae Chapter has annually sponsored Student Achievement Day to recognize the scholastic accomplishments of middle and high school students in Craven, Jones, Pamlico, and Carteret Counties. In addition to these recognitions, Jabberwock scholarships and six scholarships of $1,000 each are awarded to students from the area high schools.
Stop Hunger Now!The New Bern Alumnae Chapter, Neuse-Pamlico Sound Women Coalition, Theta Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Queen Esther Chapter #7 Order of the Eastern Star, Delta Academy, Delta GEMS, and Jabberwock Contestants packaged more than 10,000 meals which will help feed the hungry. This was the second Stop Hunger Now campaign spearheaded by the New Bern Alumnae Chapter.
