Welcome to the official website for New Bern Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. We are pleased that you have taken the time to visit our site, and hope that you become better acquainted with our chapter and the great service that we provide to our community. We are totally committed to the Five-Point Programmatic Thrust of our sorority and the vision of our twenty-two (22) Founders. Economic Development Educational Development International Awareness and Involvement Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement. Public Service Each program year, New Bern Alumnae Chapter successfully sponsors major projects and programs that are designed to improve and enrich the quality of life for less advantaged youth and the elderly in our community service area of Carteret, Craven, Jones and Pamlico Counties. We are also well-known for our annual fundraising events that support our public service programs and college-scholarship recipients: the Jabberwock every two years and our Crimson and Cream Ball. We also host several additional events and activities that engage and enlighten our community throughout our program year. Membership Our membership is dedicated to impacting social change and fostering life-long bonds amongst members to cultivate true and lasting sisterhood. If you are a soror of Delta Sigma Theta, and would like to re- establish your connection, and experience joy in our sisterhood, please join us at our next public event or sorority meeting. New Bern Alumnae Chapter DST, Inc., will warmly welcome you with open arms!
